Goodnight Mommy
Last summer at the Venice International Film Festival in Italy, the entertainment industry was introduced to horror film, Goodnight Mommy. The former indie-standout focuses on two twin brothers, who initially live a normal childhood of having pets, running outside and sometimes getting into trouble. However, that lives change forever, when their mother has a face changing cosmetic surgery and she had to remain under bandages for a few months.
After unwrapping bandages, the two twins grow extremely suspicious of their mother’s true identity – due to her new distant demeanor. We’re still skeptical on whether the casual movie goers will be accepted of this film, but fall thriller fans will definitely have a theatrical gem this year.
