Cooties
Prior to last week, we almost forgot about the Sundance Film Festival standout title from last year, Cooties. As you expect, the title does take place in a grade school but the R-Rated action-comedy and horror title is nearly perfect for those who are gearing up for October thrills. Starring Elijah Wood, Alison Pill, Rainn Wilson, Jack McBrayer and Jorge Garcia; the much-anticipated title centers on an isolated high school and its kids that get hit by a mysterious virus.
The adolescents transform into a swarm of mass savages with only one unlikely hero to help the collective teachers in the biggest fight of their lives. While the storyline and plot may seem left-field, the execution is something that critics so far have been surprised of. Whether or not the contaminated chicken nuggets frenzy of children is a hit this weekend remains to be seen, we’ll be awaiting a few more results from our before making the trip out at some point this weekend.
