For whatever, the Universal Pictures project, Everest, is finally seeing a formal stateside rollout tonight. After grossing $36 million internationally, the 1996 tale of a two friends climbing the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest is brought to the big screen. The life-changing climbing expedition sees a left turn, as Everest is devastated by a sever snow storm, which puts impossible odds not in their favor to walk away with a story for the ages. With limited promotion from our eyes, the drama-thriller has surprisingly received some positives reviews this week, which could give movie goers something forward to look to for the last weekend of September.
