The Intern
When you normally think of somebody applying for an internship, the age range is generally somewhere within the 20s. However, Robert De Niro rebirths the old phrase “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number,” with the new comedy film, The Intern. Starring alongside Anne Hathaway, the 70-year-old De Niro assumes the role of Ben Whittaker, who’s set to embark on a new journey at a fashion-based e-commerce company.
Jules Ostin (Anne), is CEO of the company and agrees to embrace the idea of an older intern at her firm, as the two develop a special bond and unusual friendship. At the moment, the comedy project has surprisingly received some positive reviews for its semi cliché storyline but we’re sure familiar faces and the right promotions will help this one not fall under the radar.
