99 Homes
Much like a few of the films releasing tonight, 99 Homes is another standout from an international film fest in 2014. Luckily, movie goers who are unfamiliar with 99 Homes, could be in store for possibly the best release this year. Starring Andrew Garfield, Michael Shannon, Laura Dern and Noah Lomax – the project sees a limited release tonight, which shouldn’t be overlooked if it’s at your local movie theater. The thriller film centers on a single father named Dennish Nash, who’s about to lose his entire life possessions and essentially must make a deal with the devil to ensure his kids don’t wind up on the streets. Michael Shannon, the local ruthless businessmen in the real estate world Dennis work for, brings him into a darker place that he ever envisioned. The more greed, Mike gets from his work as a broke, the more Dennis becomes frustrated with his entire life.
