Ashby
With a cast featuring Mickey Rourke, Nat Wolff, Emma Roberts, and Sarah Silverman, it’s impossible for Ashby to not be one of the more anticipated films this weekend. Originally premiered at Tribeca Film Festival last spring, the comedy-drama focuses on a coming of age with a high-school student by the name of Wolf. In a new town with his single mother, Wolf meets a former CIA assassin, Ashby, who only has a few months left to live.
Throughout their time together, the two develop a bond, as he learns some valuable life lessons that he’s missing without a father present. At the present, the drama-romance is receiving mixed reviews, with mostly positive, but movie goers can look for it at video-on-demand.
