A Tale of Love and Darkness
Well over a year ago since its Cannes Film Festival premiere, Natalie Portman’s directed-screen played project, A Tale of Love and Darkness, arrives to theaters tonight. Also starring Shira Haas and Ohad Knoller, the 95-minute film centers on young writer by the name of Amos Oz, who’s influenced by his mother’s stories and poetry. Through experience and developing his craft, he soon gains fame in 1940s Jerusalem and directly after the end of the British Mandate for Palestine.
We’re still undecided if this release will gain notice from movie goers, but we’re sure drama lovers will be able to eat this one up before fall.
