Coming October. . .

Bad news has emerged for USA Network’s popular series, Mr. Robot. Season three of the NYC-based drama-thriller series will have to wait a little longer, than its traditional previous summer premieres.

NBC Universal confirmed that they’re planning to shift its cyber-hack series to their fall lineup on USA, moving it to October. The exact release date wasn’t revealed this weekend at SXSW; but the network has confirmed that showrunner Sam Esmail will still helm directing and production duties, so viewers should expect no hiccups in its quality. However, the third season will now feature, Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire, Vinyl), who will make his debut later this year.

In addition to that, BD Wong from the Dark Army has been upped to a series regular, as well as Joey Bada$$ reprising his role as Leon. With production set to begin next month in New York City, look for a possible trailer to emerge during the summer, at San Diego’s Comic-Con 2017.
