Relatable Plots
Without sounding corny, there’s so many subtle, but relatable things included in the storyline of Master of None, which is probably one of the reasons why people are so attached to it. Things like squeezing toothpaste from the wrong end, parents discovering group texts, leaving clothes on the floor and the weird things he has displeasure of seeing on the subway. We don’t even have to live in New York to relate to some of the things in Dev’s life, which probably multiply to residents of the tri-state area. Especially if you’re in the 23-30 demographic trying to make your way through life.
The show is full of things you can identify with.
