Coming of Age
The whole story of Master of None is about coming of age in New York City, but there’s little things along the way that highlight it. It all starts off in the first episode where Dev questions his motives after seeing his friend with a kid and babysitting for the day. In later episodes, he reflects on how far his family has come thanks to his parents, suffers a shock after the sudden death of a friend’s grandfather and questions his future after attending the wedding of a happy couple.
Growing up is tricky at times.
