After multiple teasers and sneak peeks, the good folks over at Nike Basketball finally officially unveil the eighth signature sneaker silhouette for OKC Thunder frontman Kevin Durant, deemed the “KD 8”. For the 2016 NBA season, innovative Nike Designer Leo Chang and Durant constructed another fresh low-top silhouette featuring some of the many new technologies that the footwear giants have to offer. The KD 8 is made perfect for Durant’s speedy style of play, including Nike’s lightweight flyweave covering the upper with a unique heel/sole-design inspired by KD’s sabertooth tat on his calf.
The “Crimson Red” Nike KD 8 will be available over at the Nike Basketball online shop and sports footwear retailers worldwide starting July 11th. Check out some detailed images of Durant’s new kicks above.
