After numerous false alarms, the good folks over at Nike Basketball have finally decided to unveil the 10th signature sneaker for Laker legend Kobe Bryant, deemed the KOBE X. This time around the 5-time NBA champion goes back to his to his innovative low-cut model, with a shark skin-inspired upper which represents his aggressive and high speed style of play. The new silhouette also offers Nike’s unique Lunarlon technology along with a Zoom air unit on the heel and a special custom traction system deemed the “Mamba Race Car”.
In the video above, Kobe bryant gives us some insight on his 10th signature sneaker. The “5am Flight” blue colorway of the KOBE x’s will be available February 7th over at the Nike online shop and select sneaker retailers worldwide. Check out detailed images below.
