Nike Basketball and OKC Thunder front man Kevin Durant have made it a yearly tradition to release a “Think Pink” rendition of KD’s signature silhouette to pay homage to his Aunt Pearl who passed away due to her battle with breast cancer. To celebrate the life of Aunt Pearl and build breast cancer awareness for 2014, Durant tricks out his new KD VI model with a light pink/ royal blue floral-upper and grey/hot pink accents throughout the shoe. The colorway also features white soles and other custom detailing.
The Nike KD VI “Aunt Pearl” will be available this spring in very limited quantities over at the Nike online shop and select retailers. Check out detailed images below.
