The L.A. Lakers might have been eliminated from the playoffs in a truly embarrassing fashion on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean the road has ended. It might have for this season, but it has just started for the next. Although Kobe Bryant had to watch his team be defeated by the San Antonio Spurs 103-82 on their home court, his presence was felt.
Nike put together a commercial paying tribute to Kobe, titled “You Showed Us,” which takes fans on a chronological history of his career. From the draft to some pinnacle moments we’ve all witnessed (his 81 point game, a few of his classic game winners, etc.) and they all culminate to his season injury and inspirational free throws, showing us how Mamba never gives up.
