Olivia Munn may be seen more in the public eye, now that she’s dating the current NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers; but the former tech-girl has appeared in more spreads in recent years. In her newest shoot for Modern Luxury Angeleno Magazine, the exotic beauty is seen in the spring-themed “real estate issue”. While wearing a silk gown from Maria Lucia Hohan (that we want to instantly rip off) and a trellan dress from Calvin Klein – Olivia offers her latest thirst trap, many have never seemed to escape from for nearly a decade.
“I thought of myself in 15 years saying, ‘I was going to be an actress but mom never let me,’ and then my whole life I could never know and be happy that I could have, but everybody else stopped me.” She realized that she was simply afraid to fail. “‘What if I don’t make it?’ I remember asking my mother, and she said, ‘Then you can just come home.’” Although the answer gave her comfort (“It gave me the freedom to go and try, knowing that at least my mom wouldn’t be disappointed in me.”), Munn still thinks about how it could’ve gone differently. “Just because you have a dream, just because you work really hard, just because you have an innate talent, it doesn’t mean it’s all going to work out for you. Because you have to hope that all the stars line up above your head at the same time and that you are ready as soon as they do. It’s very hard.”
