Our Favorite Movies To Watch On Christmas

MVP, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Home Alone 1 may be the best overall movie in its series, but Home Alone 2: Lost in New York was without a doubt my favorite of them all. Who wouldn’t want to be a 10-year-old kid living it up at the Plaza Hotel, with a wallet full of money you came across carrying your dad’s luggage?

The McCallister,’s plan was originally to travel to Miami and get some warm weather during the holiday, this time with Kevin. After a late arrival at a local airport in Chicago, a frenzy occurs with the entire family running to their flights and Kevin manages to get left behind for the second straight year. Throughout Kevin’s visit to the city, he coincidentally runs into the Sticky Bandits (Marv and Harry), who tried to rob his house in the previous movie installment but were unsuccessful. The two eventually catch up to Kevin, as he eventually sets up a local townhouse with booby traps they would not want to see on Christmas Eve.

The reason I personally love this movie, is the freedom of not having a care of the world and going on a shopping spree for the holidays; but that only happens in the movies.
