Pablo Escobar’s Son Explains How His Dad Made $420 Million a Week

This is an insane amount of money

Over the summer, 60 Minutes Australia aired a special piece with the son of Pablo Escobar, Sebastian Marroquin; to open up on some rare information. Despite his fearful tactics in the infamous network of the Medellín Cartel, Sebastian discussed how his dad was one of the best people he knew, including opened up on his fondest childhood memories.

While taking 60 minutes on a tour through his youth house, the focus transitioned to a brief background story on the only person alive to war with the Black Widow, Griselda Blanco.

It was soon revealed that Mr. Escobar was generating $400 million a week in revenue (multiply that by 52), from trafficking cocaine to Miami and most of the United States.

Through all of that money, Escobar stashed his funds within the country of Colombia, as he would lose $2.1 billion in cash each year to hungry rats looking for food.
