Nike Basketball and Los Angeles Lakers Legend Kobe Bryant continue the countdown til the Kobe 9, gearing up to release the fourth installment from the “Prelude Pack”, the Prelude IV. This time they trick out Kobe’s fourth signature sneaker Nike silhouette which revolutionized the way basketball models are structured today, being one of first low-cut models to be appreciated for on-court wear.
The Prelude IV consist of a predominantly purple-based upper covered by a multi-color splattered paint, with translucent icey blue soles. The colorway pays tribute to Bryants 2009 MVP award and bringing the Lakers back to the NBA Finals to take the championship trophy back from the stacked 09 Boston Celtics.
In the video after the jump, Kobe gives some insight on the Prelude IV. He speaks on the model being on his feet during the whole 2009 Lakers rebuilding stages and leading them to the 2009 NBA finals. The Nike Kobe Prelude IV will be available over at select retailers and the Nike online shop December 28th in very limited quantities.
