Thank you, GOAT!
After dealing with stolen scripts and battling Disney in Hollywood for his The Hateful Eight movie premiere just last holiday, the Quentin Tarantino universe looks like it’s coming to an end in the next few years. The legendary director-producer-writer spoke at last week’s San Diego Adobe Max creativity conference – revealing that he’s stopping at 10 feature films. Tarantino would simply say, Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, match that shit.” Before leaving the stage, he also spoke gave insight on his creative process, including what fans can except for his next script.
Regarding the upcoming films, he also said, “So much of the movie’s language revolves around a sound or a song. Before I’ve started, I’m seriously thinking about the music. I’m listening to a track and picturing everyone at the Cannes Palais just loving it.” While we’re not expecting another Q.T. film in the next 24 months, we’re intrigued for the last two originals he has in the coming years.
