Pissing off Quentin Tarantino is something that we don’t recommend, because it most likely won’t end well for you. Yesterday, the acclaimed director filed a lawsuit against the media website Gawker for posting a direct link the leaked script for his film The Hateful Eight last week. The lawsuit claims copyright infringement for posting a link to the script after Tarantino’s lawyers had demanded the link to be taken down with no action.
The worst part of the story is Quentin was so upset about the leak, he has decided to abandon making the western-themed film for now to focus on another script he has on deck. Tarantino believes that the script leaked when he shared it with three actors he wanted involved and it eventually leaked after it came across one of their agents. We just hope that this doesn’t derail the film permanently because from what we hear, the script was incredible.
We will update with more details as they become available.
