Questlove has been hyping this moment for a long time (Jimmy Fallon even name dropped it in their game of Pyramid) and the episode where he gets a cameo on Law & Order: SVU finally aired. He got a few seconds of camera time playing a dead body.
While investigating a rape and possible hate crime, Detective Tutuola and Rollins stopped by Medical Examiner Melinda Warner’s “office” to get a report of fibers that had been found on the victim and subsequently on the carpet of one of the suspects. Unfortunately, Quest had nothing to do with the investigation or the episode besides being the dead body the ME was examining when the two detectives arrived.
This kind of rules him out for a cameo on any future episodes, right?
