As we quickly approach the fourth quarter, one of the major films that is scheduled to be released in the early stages of 2014 is RoboCop, which is a remake of the 1987 film of the same name. The science fiction film happens to be the fourth instalment of the popular series, with Brazilian director José Padilha opting to make an important mark.
Starring the likes of Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson, we’re taken through a 2028-based story of a gifted police officer who (due to injury) turns into a the fighting machine known as RoboCop, providing the the world with a much better alternative of tackling crimes, so it seems. Along the way, much of standard everyday life gets in the way in terms of the character’s undying love for his wife and son.
Expect the film to hit theaters on February 7th next year.
