Bond 24 will feature music from the 22-year-old London sensation
Columbia Pictures has been extremely secret regarding their next roll-out and installments of the legendary James Bond series. With Daniel Craig tapped to return for the series next two films, Bond 24 and Bond 25, the much-anticipated follow-up to their 2012 box office smasher Skyfall will be releasing next holiday.
Lana Del Rey had been previously lobbying hard for receiving honors of helming the big films theme song, but movie producer, Barbara Broccoli has decided to go with London singer-songwriter Sam Smith to sing Bond 24’s theme song. Following the release of his debut album In The Lonely Hour over the summer, Mr. Smith has cemented himself as one of the biggest newcomers in music at the tender age of 22.
With contributions to hit singles for Disclosure’s Latch and Naughty Boy’s “La La La” and working on Mary J. Blige’s upcoming London Sessions album – Sam will be assisting the billion dollar secret agent series.
Look for ‘Bond 24’ in theaters November 6, 2015.
