Love HBO Now? Get ready for SHOWTIME, coming this summer!

Following the success of rival HBO Now cord cutting streaming service earlier this year, Showtime has revealed the official launch window for the stand-alone has finally been revealed. If you remember last spring, CBS chief Les Moonves announced that a follow-up service to its CBS All-Access will be arriving for subsidiary network Showtime was in the works. Today, CBS revealed through a press release starting in early July, the stand-alone SHOWTIME service (self-titled) will be exclusively to Apple for the monthly price of $10.99.

A free 30 day trial promotion is also currently running right now if you sign up before the end of July, and will be available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV. With Ray Donovan and Master of Sex set to premiere Sunday, July 12th, the stand-alone launch will coincide with both series.

HBO Now, coincidentally also launched exclusive on Apple devices last April at the price of $14.99 per month – which will give users more incentive to stay away from the expensive prices of cable and/or satellite.
