Just Don buys some kicks
Usually when we catch Sneaker Shopping episodes, a rapper is on talking about how much they’re about the culture and they have hundreds of sneakers in the closet. This episode is a little different, because Don C is not a rapper, singer or entertainer, but he does dabble in the fashion world with his Just Don brand.
Just Don and Nike collaborated recently on the Jordan 2, and for the latest episode of the Complex series, he meets with Joe La Puma at RIF in Los Angeles to look at kicks.
Don explains why some of the early Jordan’s are so iconic, dropping mad knowledge on the youngn’s about when Michael actually wore them, and then explains what it feels like to have collaborated with the brand he grew up idolizing. He also explains why Kanye West‘s sneaker lines are changing the culture and what how the LeBron James and Kobe Bryant sneakers have impacted the youth of today.
Oh yeah, he dropped three racks on some new kicks too.
