Continuing with their “Sneaker Shopping” series, Complex catches up with rap veteran Fat Joe at BX Sports to get his take in the sneaker game. Him and Joe La Puma looked at shoes and talked about some classic Jordans, as well as what he likes to work out in (the rapper has lost a ton of weight in the past few years, attributed to a healthier lifestyle) and he revealed he likes to get fit in cheap sneakers.
The two also talked about the “licking the sole” of the shoe phenomenon and how he started it on MTV Cribs. That’s something he’s left in the past and won’t catch him doing nowadays.
Before they headed out, Joe confessed that he already knew what he was going to buy a few seconds into walking through the store and he left with a few pairs of Jordans and some classic Timberland boots. You know how they do out in New York.
