With 20th Century Fox moving ahead with another Spider-Man reboot, as well as bringing the tangled-web character to the Avengers series, a Venom spin-off film is officially in the works. Since making a first appearance in Spider-Man 3 nearly a decade ago, the buzz around the villain never seemed to slow down, as Sony is now looking to capitalize off a character fans are waiting to see.
After making a great first impression with the masses, it’s still unclear which version of Venom will be incarnated for its first motion picture, but we’re predicting it’ll take an anti-hero approach – in comparison to going full “good guy.” While Fox and Marvel are yet to give an official unveiling of its Venom project, we’re hopeful that more news surfaces at San Diego Comic-Com in the summer.
