It’s been nearly 10 months since we’ve seen Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s raunchy and over the top animated series, South Park. Next Wednesday, the 17th season will begin on Comedy Central; and judging from the season teaser, there’s going to be some controversy this year from animated characters depicted in the likes of Edward Snowden, George Zimmerman and even Miley Cyrus (for obvious reasons). Former Saturday Night Live cast member Bill Hader will have a bigger role in writing and the creation process on the forthcoming season, so you can expect the three to push every and all envelopes this year.
