Watch Spike Lee’s one-on-one with MSNBC
Last weekend, Chance the Rapper went to social media to public call out Spike Lee’s portrayal of the city Chicago in his recently released motion picture, Chi-Raq. Chano went to cite Lee had minimal contributions to the city and said that nobody in the film nor soundtrack was from his hometown.
In a recent one-on-one interview with MSNBC, Spike defended his new project from attacks on social media regarding its plot and gave a response to the Chicago rapper, bringing up his father’s job as a chief of staff for Mayor Emanuel and how they allegedly haven’t had criticism on the way the city’s being ran.
