The Leftovers
The interest levels for The Leftovers season two remained high every Sunday, even though we had absolutely no goddamn idea of what was happening. Seriously, every week it was more questions than answers. We’re sure Damon Lindelof is doing this on purpose, because there is no other explanation as to why cavemen women needed to jump start the season or why outer-body experiences were happening to Kevin Garvey, Jr. or what anything means on the show.
What the fuck are the Guilty Remnant? Why is Jill resorted to a side character with hardly any lines when she has so much potential? What on God’s green earth is a ghost in someone’s mind following them all day? Can we please just get a few clues?
Judging on the season finale, it almost seemed like a series finale, but there’s no way the show gets cancelled now. The mysteries of the show will continue to fester at our brains until the rest of humanity ceases to exist or gets departed.
