Mr. Robot

We have to be completely honest, over the summer when the fall and winter series came to an end, we were just looking for something to hold us over – and then we met USA Network’s crime-drama, Mr. Robot. Without spoiling the entire plot for season two, lets just say the main character Elliot has some internal issues. The 20-something-year old computer programmer, has a semi-normal life of being an anti-social worker at a Manhattan company, until he’s recruited by one of the biggest group of hackers in the world. As Elliot battles with addition, hallucination, internal family issues and a love life, he’s no longer under-the-radar in the eye of corporate America or the government and is coincidentally looking to bring down the corrupt company that he works for.

We’re sure many didn’t expect Mr. Robot to become this big of a hit over the spring (we didn’t either), but with an obvious bigger budget set for season two, there’s more to look forward to in the coming months of young Elliot looking to save humanity’s sanity from the one’s ruining the world – even if it means sacrificing his.
