Fargo

For some reason, we held off from watching Fargo for a long time. We kept reading how good the series was, but we didn’t want to half-ass watch, so we had to wait for the perfect time to sit down and take it all in. Once we did, we were mad we didn’t do it sooner.

While season one was more tailor made to parallel the movie, season two has been anything but that. The show creators went back to the past and crafted this to be a prequel that takes place before the original move. The results? A mix of murder, seduction, betrayal and war. Instead of just Fargo, the series moves between different cities and plots, following a crime family war, your average Joe family covering up a murder, and the police following what’s happening in the process.

Bokeem Woodbine, who plays the role of Mike Milligan, has one of the standout performances of the show. The FX hit also stars Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Nick Offerman and Patrick Wilson.
