The Knick
We don’t doubt for one second that the madness inside Dr. Thackery’s head has truly simmered down for good. He’s still snorting coke. He’s still trying to revolutionize medicine. And in season two of the critically acclaimed The Knick, he had a major loss that will undoubtedly rattled his core and push him over the edge.
While it’s a change of pace from the maniacal monster which spun out of control last season, a few supporting characters have stepped up to the plate with interesting storylines of their own.
For example, Lucy, who went from being an innocent preacher’s daughter to outright manipulative. She finally realized how to use her box to her advantage, preying on the weakness of men to get what she wants. It’s been absolutely fascinating to see her play the game.
That prostitute helped Herman Barrow grow some balls too.
