“Star Wars: Episode VII” To Begin Filming In May

It looks like J.J. Abrams and his crew are all set to go to a galaxy far, far away. Sources today are reporting that Star Wars: Episode VII is all set to start filming in May, and that most of the principle casting is already a done deal. This move certainly puts the film on pace to stick to its December 18, 2015 release. Though exact details about the cast are hazy, original actors Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill & Carrie Fisher are all expected to be involved in the film in some capacity.

Filming is set to take place in London on the same location where the original film was shot and is reportedly all ready to go, pending the crews to arrive. There have been a number of casting rumors we’ve caught through the process, but we will have to wait until the studio makes an official announcement before we know who’s in, and who’s out.

We will continue to update with details on the production of this film as it leads up to filming and when the official cast is announced.
