David Letterman just recently called it quits on the Late Show and passed the torch to Stephen Colbert. But what has Colbert been up to since December when the Colbert Report ended? Apparently that extended hiatus has been good to him because he’s grown the viral Colbeard, seen in this first teaser for the new Late Show on CBS.
In the clip, Stephen talks about the beard and starts shaving it in different ways until ultimately going clean. Then he reminisces about it with a tribute video, but considering his premiere on CBS is not until September 8, we guarantee the beard will be back before then.
