Season 2 for Supergirl is going to be insane!
Throughout its inaugural season on CBS, Supergirl would often text her mysterious cousin, when things got too crazy in National City, Los Angeles. However, with the series moving to Vancouver next fall, as well as new network, Kara is set to see a few new friends make cameos in live-action series from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. Clark Kent has been confirmed by CW to make an appearance in the first two episodes of season two, which the role is currently being cast.
With the series taking a jump to Monday’s at 8:00pm ET/PT, in a flagship role for the network, Lex Luthor’s sister, Lena, will also be one of the fresh faces hitting the show. Unlike Superman, the sexy and smart woman, who wants out of her brother’s shadow, will appear as a series regular.
Other characters making a debut in the DCU series are The Doctor, Snapped Carr and Maggie Sawyer, as those three roles (including Lena) are yet to be cast as well. If any stand-out characters join the series, we’ll keep you updated on important information.
