Earlier this year, New Jersey native artist KAWS’ iconic “Companion” character took the trip to Philadelphia for a few months, in light of the “passing through tour, where a 16-foot tall version sat in 30th St. Station for some months. Now, Companion returns to Philly, this time making the stop at the legendary gallery, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Companion hits the PAFA with a special showing in company of over 60 KAWS paintings, and custom sculptures made exclusively for the exhibition.
