Before Los Angeles Lakers Legend Kobe Bryant became Nike’s “Black Mamba”, he was lacing up his Adidas, jumping off his career signing with the 3-stripes for his first few seasons. Although he wore other Adidas silhouettes like the classic crazy 8 and the EQT Elevations, Kobe’s first official signature shoe was the Adidas Kobe 1, which was the shoe worn by Bryant when he won his first NBA title in 2001.
Adidas has decided to bring back the model renamed the “Crazy 1” keeping all the same elements as the original silhouette. The brand will be releasing the “Sunshine” colorway which Kobe debuted in the 2001 all-star game, featuring a complete yellow-upper with black accents.
The Adidas “Crazy 1” will make their official return the day after Christmas (December 26th) at Adidas retailers. Check out detailed images below
