Clive Owen Plays a Father in ‘The Confirmation’
Clive Owen may be giving one of the performances of his career in The Knick, but he’s making a return to theaters with his upcoming film The Confirmation.
With his mom and step-dad going to a Catholic retreat, eight-year old Anthony spends the weekend with his alcoholic father Walt (played by Owen), who he barely ever sees. A combination of events that involve nearly crashing, getting locked out and tools getting stolen turn out to be the perfect way of bonding for the two of them.
The movie, written and directed Bob Nelson, co-stars the likes of Maria Bello, Stephen Tobolowsky and Patton Oswalt and comes out March 18th.
