One of the most anticipated films on our movie itineraries this year, is the second installment of the Hunger Games series. Last night during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, the first teaser frailer for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” premiered.
The movie picks up right after the 74th annual events with survivors Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellar returning home, but the two must immediately embark on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts, leaving family and close friends behind. During the tour, President Snow is preparing Quarter Quell (The 75th Annual Hunger Games), which could change Panem forever, as Katniss senses a rebellion is near.
The trailer doesn’t give away much about the storyline, to keep our excitement level high for the science-fiction adventure film. The upcoming movie starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson hits theaters worldwide November 29th.
