Following his role in True Detective, Colin Farrell will star as the lead in upcoming film The Lobster, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
The plot is based in the dystopian future, where single people are sent to a hotel to find a match in 45 days. If they’re unable to find someone, they’re transformed into beasts and sent out into the woods. However, David goes against the grain on a journey of his own.
Rachel Weisz, Jessica Barden, Olivia Colman, Ashley Jensen and Ariane Labed star in the film, with no US release date announced yet.
