Nicolas Winding Refn has become of the leading directors over the years with films like Bronson and the Ryan Gosling-starring Drive and Only God Forgives. Now, after a three-year absence, he’s returning with his next movie The Neon Demon in June, with the first trailer released today.
The thriller follows the story of an aspiring model (Elle Fanning) in Los Angeles, who crosses paths with a group of beauty-obsessed women that will do all it takes to get what she has. Co-stars include Alessandro Nivola, Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee and Bella Heathcote.
Cliff Martinez (Drive, Only God Forgives) scored the movie following his recent success doing the music for The Knick.
