Are you ready for a return to Elm Street?

In 2010, New Line Cinema rebooted The Nightmare on Elm Street series, which had a more than respectable $115 million box office affair. Unfortunately, long-time fans of the series and critics didn’t necessarily like the film, which somewhat tarnished its legacy. Now, five year later, the movie production company has decided to take a revisit to the series and resurrect Freddy Kruger once again with a new reboot of the film.

More than 30 years since the original release of the Wes Craven project, the new Nightmare script is set to be written by David Leslie Johnson, previously seen on the 2009 hit, Orphan. Look for more details regarding the razor-gloved serial killer to surface in the coming months – including hopeful familiar faces in lead roles.
