Director Noah Buschel has revealed the first trailer for upcoming sports drama The Phenom, starring Ethan Hawke and Paul Giamatti.
The baseball film is based around a Major League rookie pitcher struggling to throw strikes. His form leads the club to sending him to a sports psychologist, where memories of his demanding and abusive father continue to haunt him during their time together.
Johnny Simmons plays the lead role, with co-stars including Sophie Kennedy Clark, Yul Vazquez and Marin Ireland. The film will have a limited release and go to video on demand on June 24th.
