Director Alejandro González Iñárritu is fresh off an incredible year, winning Best Picture and Best Director at the Academy Awards, he is now back behind the lens for another film that looks like it could have some Oscar potential. Leonardo DiCaprio stars in The Revenant, the story of legendary explorer Hugh Glass, who goes through hardship and pain in order to survive after an expedition in the woods left him out for dead thanks to members of his hunting team. He soon finds out that John Fitzgerald (played by Tom Hardy) betrays him in the process and must find the will to continue to fight, even when all odds are against him.
The Revenant hits theaters this December.
