Last night after the latest episode of Game of Thrones (as well as Californication), we came across HBO’s premiere of their new late-night talk show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
The half-hour long comedy features John Oliver, who most of you may remember from his work at Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with John Stewart; but now he’s taking the proper steps to give direct competition the others. Luckily for all parties involved, John doesn’t interrupt your weekly fix of The Daily Show’s antics for over-saturation of the genre, but has his own uncensored twist and lane of recapping the biggest events from the week. In the pilot episode, he impressed all taking notes from his former TV mentor with hilarious comedy bits and tons of F-bombs we will never on standard cable.
