We told you that HBO had a new series on deck and last night Silicon Valley officially premiered after the season four premiere of Game of Thrones.
The show centers around a group of nerds who are trying to create the world’s next huge start-up company, while still working under a huge corporation during the day. In the first episode, Richard Hendrix accidentally gains the interest of major corporations for his idea “Pied Piper,” after a few programmers made fun of him, then realized they stumbled on to a goldmine. Of course, his website was shitted on and doubted up until the big wigs took interest because of its revolutionary way to compress files without losing quality. The dilemma is whether he should sell his company outright or have someone invest in it for a percentage stake on some Shark Tank shit.
