James Gandolfini may be sadly gone from us, but Tony Soprano is alive and well this FALL!
Whenever we find some free time to watch TV, we often find ourselves stumbling on The Biography Channel for The First 48, Gangsters: America’s Most Evil and our favorite show currently, Mobsters. If there’s a chance we miss the reruns during the late night, we’ll hook up our Google Chromecast and watch the legendary New Jersey-based mobster show, The Sopranos on HBO GO.
The series will finally drop in complete box set form, and is definitely a must buy for loyalists of the series over the last 15 years, like ourselves. Fellow HBO shows in the likes of Sexy and the City, OZ and The Wire are still waiting to go BLU-RAY, but seeing The Sopranos make the big transition is a good sign moving forward. Hopefully soon, we can catch Omar Little terrorize them Baltimore streets and Carrie Bradshaw style in her stilettos in super HD.
In related news, series creator David Chase revealed the possibility of the series returning, but this time in big screen form.
While fellow HBO series like Entourage have continued from the storyline from finales, The Sopranos movie is currently in talks to be a prequel. It’ll be hard to recreate the acting from Gandolfini, but we hope they pick the right person. Peep the image above to check out the set before its official November 4, 2014 release for the price of $280.
