What Was Accomplished?

We’re trying to really figure out what was accomplished besides a few ratings in the premiere, because this movie isn’t going to receive any awards – yet alone nominations. One of the producers (see: tweet below) didn’t even properly know the legendary artist’s catalog during the night of its release. The world and her legacy were better without this film ever seeing a release, as we’re hoping a proper theatrical release arrives to the masses to erase the memory of this abomination. Aaliyah’s immediate family, friends and music should all be involved in a motion picture affair for a real depiction of her career and music – not focusing on relationships in a distasteful manner.
