It’s been one week since season 2 of House of Cards went up for binge watching on Netflix. Have you finished watching all the episodes yet? We did, and while we weren’t completely amazed by the show by the end of it (besides episode one?), it was a solid attempt. Shit got just as real for certain characters and Frank Underwood’s master plot. Everything he schemed hard for finally came full circle.
There were many casualties of war.
Throughout our time watching those 13 episodes, we took a bit of game from Frank Underwood and realized that sometimes the road to success is paved by any means necessary. How much you’re willing to do to get there? Some will kill their firstborn, backstab friends and sell-out to achieve world domination in their own sport. There’s a price to everything, the only difference is how much you’re willing to pay.
Whether you agree with that philosophy or not, there’s a few things to take away from the second season of House of Cards. We break some of them down.
Disclaimer: SPOILER ALERT. WE REPEAT, SPOILER ALERT. IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THE SHOW YET, DO NOT FUCK IT UP FOR YOURSELF AND CLICK AHEAD.
